SOC is the gold standard

SOC, short for System and Organization Controls, was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) as a reporting framework for evaluating third-party vendors such as Showpad.

SOC 2 reports on an organization’s systems and controls as they relate to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy.

More specifically, SOC 2 Type 2 pertains to how an organization protects customer data and the effectiveness of its internal systems and controls.

SOC 2 Type 2 compliance means Showpad’s systems and controls have been carefully assessed and validated by a third-party expert.
